Not often I throw my hands up,but this is an odd one.Switch on green light flashes settles to stable green,you get sound but no display at all not even a flash.The screen buzzes,output signal to a set via scart you get sound & picture changes channels o.k.voltages from psu sit at 195 & 100volts theres vd rail at 65volts which I think feeds the bottom buffers,5volt supplies,15volt supplies all appears to be good.Ive got a green led on both the ysus & z sus which are on.Any ideas,What have I missed.I have disconnected the buffers & shorted sc50 on y sus,screen still buzzes.HELP!

You say the screen buzzes - I trust you've examined it carefully for cracks. Easy to miss on a darkened screen - or do you mean it has the normal operational hum of a screen.
The other thing to check is the earthing screws on both the SC (Y-Sus) and SS (Z-Sus) boards. The last one I had buzzing was the top right screw on the SS board. Best thing to do is remove both boards, reflow the circular earthing lands on the underside of the boards - you'll see which ones have been arcing - and clean the earth holes on the back of the panel with an emery board or a file. Fit star washers to the screws if you have some on hand.

Hi Bruce,the buzz is not the normal level Loud! but nothing gets over hot. I've had a good look at the screen but can see any burns or cracks,very odd.I'll have another look when time permits.
