Title: Samsung curved screen

Hi Everyone Have a Samsung curved screen model UE49KU6100 ,not coming on just a flash on the screen and off.Suspect its the leds but have not taken on of these curvy baby screens before .Is there any advice on how to handle  this screen when its been taken out.Thanks in advance for any tips Al

Hi Al,

Last one I did was relatively straight forwards as I remember. Probably best to store the display upright, so as not to stress the curve,
that means upside down so it's not resting on the flexies.                    Bruce

Hi Bruce Many thanks for your reply which i found very helpful.However this did not end well,managed to dismantle screen as described by you and found all leds to be ok so ordered power board ,got psu no better so ordered main board you,ve gessed it ,still same so the fault is the screen itself.Thats how it goes win some lose some  :03:

Hi Al,
Hope you haven't jinxed me. I have one in currently that gives 2 red blinks in a 5 time sequence. This keeps repeating. Got a used main board from a mate but same thing - but he strips all boards out of TVs whether they're good or bad. So I've ordered a new main board which is yet to arrive. A bit apprehensive as I was never able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. Fingers crossed.
