Title: LG 55LA6208 - Panal Problem

hallo everyone
im working on an lg 55la6208 for a while. it has a strange problem as you can see on the picture the left half of the screen is mirrored and split in 3 parts.i already swiched the tcon board but the problem remains.it looks like that the 3 COF drivers of the left site had some Problem.

Hi Vincent, you've got 2 flexie cables from the bottom of the T-con to the panel. Disconnect the one going to the bad half of the display panel. I would expect the good half of the panel to still give a good picture and the bad half to give a pure white screen. Then refit the flexi and remove the second one. If the bad half goes messy, or both halves go messy, then you have a bad display panel. You can check the bad driver for shorted surface mount capacitors but it's never worked for me.            Bruce
