Title: AKAI AKTV401 , sound ok, no image .
Post by: amennone on December 03, 2019,17:40:22
The problem is the one described in the argument, the sound is ok, but there is no image.
Backlight is on.
On the board (T-CON PANDA 385L RUNTKB070ZZPN - PANDA 385R RUNTKA071ZZPN), integrated on the display the 12 volt voltage is ok.
IC3: HX8915-E is powered (see photo), but there is no voltage on the terminals.
HX8915-E is an equivalent of as15?
The problem is HX8915-E?
Thanks and good job.

HX8915 is equivalent to AS15 but it usually results in a poor contrast or fluorescent picture. Never known it to cause no picture.

I could be wrong. Is the IC getting red hot to touch?                                    Bruce

Hello and thanks for the reply. What should I check?
The chip is cold.

Hi, when a monitor is connected to the TV Scart output, I don't have
audio and image on the monitor. Should I shift my attention to the motherboard?
is the layout of the CV9203H-A42 main board possible?

Strange that you get no audio via Scart. I have no access to the service manual or board layout for this model but main board is looking like a possibility. Presume you've checked if there's a fuse on the T-con and it is intact.                Bruce
