Hi folks ,this tv has got sound but no picture,back light comes up for 1 second then goes off ,i can see 24v on inverter board and can see blue light on it.I bought second hand inverter from ebay but its same so I don,t know the board is faulty or back lights is faulty?
I will appreciate any help.

Hi Sam,

Recently looked at a 32AV600 with a different fault, where supplier wanted $330 AU for a main board....yeah ,right.

Look for a BL-ON or INV-ON pin and see if it's getting around 3VDC and holding. If yes, might be a case of gutting the panel to the point where you can observe the backlights, and in that 1 second window, check if any CCFLs are not igniting, or giving a pinkish glow. Might have to turn TV off and on a few times to capture all the CCFLs in action.        Bruce
