Baird JO47Baird, Capacitors replaced ......... BUT>>>>
benjaminbird:
I have This TV, all of a sudden it gave me problems getting out of stand-by, (red light would just flash away).
So I replaced 5 of the Capacitors, Now the unit switches on from stand-by quite happily.
However, Now the screen appears to be extremely bright pinkish white. Can still see the image displayed on screen, the picture seems like a negative.
entered Factory Mode (source 2 5 8 0) no eprom reset option there,
so where do i go from here?
Any help/Guidance will be greatly appreciated

Suspect you have firmware corruption so a bin or SSB would probably sort it. Note there's a lot of cheap SSBs on the Flea at the moment - Chris.

Thanks for the reply first of all.
I was led to believe that I could rectify this issue by performing an eeprom reset, I can't seem to locate this option in the menu?
Also please forgive my ignorance, but please could you translate your answer into layman's terms specifically "so a bin or SSB would probably sort it"
Turnip:
Hi Ben,
Remember when I had the problem with a Neon/Murphy/Cello using a similar SSB (Small signal board) I managed sort it with a 'factory reset' - Other times needed to get Bin 'firmware' from folks who supply programmed Eeprom chips or a download to use with a programmer - Maybe EZP2010 or similar.
Note however that the SSB for Baird JO47 seems cheap on the Flea at the moment - Chris.

Hi I've managed to locate a bin file which I will attach can I trust it and what do I do with it?
