Samsung UE46F6510 smart tv switches on & off repeatedly after 45Mins.

Hi folks,just wondered if anyone's had this problem with Samsung smart TV's?I had this set on now for at least an hour & so far hasn't played up.Lots of inconclusive stuff on Net about switching off Eco solutions & HDMI any-net settings but nothing cast iron.Just wondered if there's known problems.I've checked for software updates,but mines up to date.

Hi Bonesy, nothing leaps out at me right now, but if it won't play up, you're up s#!t creek. A few suggestions though:

See if it's got "Auto over-the-air updates" (user menu, I think). Switch it off.
See if it's got "Watch Dog Timer" (WD or WDT) in the service mode. Switch it off.
Disconnect the Wi-Fi modem. Leave if off unless the punter uses it. Have been known to become corrupted.

thanks Bruce,I've looked in menu,settings,but not touched anything as yet.Auto update is off,all eco tree hugging settings are off.Set is still running at the moment,not missed a beat.Only thing switch on is anynet plus.Wait & see I guess.Thanks for input
