JVC LT-43C860 - flashing blue,white,red & green

This is the bulletin for the Sanyo. With the info supplied in prior posts, you should be able to apply it to the JVC.

When I get into the service menu and select "power mode" I cannot change this option it is fixed on standby and is read only.
I've done a factory reset now but when I turn it off and back on it flashes through its colours again.

Shall I just scrap it at this point?

Hello,maybe it's possible a firmware upgrade;by the way what Vestel chassis is it (17MB...)?
