hi turnip
looks like you may have to charge and discharge the cells a few times to try and reset the built in charge timer inside the cell packet charge for at least 16 hours and repeat discharge/charge cycle its timer is on a pcb inside cell packet with timer point tapped off at roughly have the voltage

ps  see here for an  idea on how this works also the pcb detects the type of machine thats why some laptop replacements don't charge

Hi Cat,

Thought Vac charger would feel cells suspect, so charged them gently to 16 volts with workshop P/S where Vac charger took over and sorted to full charge overnight.

Surprisingly the whole biz worked, even the rotary brush.

Hate vacuum cleaners if they don't have a duff rubber band - Chris.

hi turnip
great going ,as for battery packs feel theyre just money earners for manufacters as most sealed units that have to be broken open just to try and repair
where internal psb is not available with little id on the board

Thanks 'Cat'

Would have been nice had any info been available, but sadly never is. Gather cleaner costs £120 new, tend to feel it's rubbish, though fashionable, as does most everything but not very well - Chris.

Look at Hoover models. There are quite small and comfortable. Considering from what I’ve read in the reviews it shouldn’t be very noisy and at the same time it's easy to remove and change the bag. You can compare them here . In fact, there are many more vacuum cleaners. Maybe you’ll go for some other.
