hi fella's not looked at this tv yet, gonna pop round tomorrow just seeing if there's any info on these tvs it's a samsung ue48j6300ak flashing red standby light my thoughts are mainboard thanks for your time

Hi Shaun,

You should be able to unplug the TV, disconnect the power harness to the main board and plug it back in to the power point. If backlights come on and stay on, the LEDs and PSU should be OK i.e. the main board is crook.
