Bush LED48304UHDT2 - Said to go off.

			Thanks Dave,
Didn't pull off the heat sink as might have dislodged any BGAs, as seemed firmly stuck. Noticed three sprung loaded whatsits to maybe keep the heat sink in place.
Cautious, maybe a setting as you suggest, but 'Bush' on line suggests nothing apart from recycling.
Maybe an idea to go 'Vestel' see if they admit having a 'Bush' badge.
Thanks for possible 23299522 17MB100 - will check out - Chris.
In the event, set works fine with a huge signal, so as no SSB's on Ebay will suggest an aerial amp or maybe a freeview box with HDMI output as it doesn't have a Scart. Gather although set is supposed to be 'Smart' the customer isn't.

Could be the rf amp in tuner kaput.
Because of so many versions of the main board as you probably know I'd be tempted to use the 23299522 number.

			Hi Dave and thanks,
Lots of 17MB100 on Ebay, but not that number at present. Bit odd why prices vary so much. Thought buy the cheapest cheapy as the tuners look the same and possibly are. Getting out the 'solder mop' - Through hole stuff is such a pain.
As an aside, chap brought in an LG needing a SSB cook as his HDMI had vanished. Cooked it so well I melted both Scart sockets and he couldn't get the plugs in. Bit of a pain changing them from an old Vestel board. Now only cook at 190 C for ten minutes - All fun - Chris.

Main board prices vary dramatically.... never had a bad one yet from Ebay gotta admit.  Solder wick now that stuff is what I call dear for what it is, all too easy to 'cut n' use' and then it's all gone.

			Hi Davy,
Yes but - Wonder what you use to sort solder print through on multi pin stuff ? Admit a some times I snip the pins, but still need clear the holes.
While ago bought a thing with a heated nozzle and vacuum pump. Sadly it blocked up in seconds so had to get a very long 3mm drill to clear it out. Admit haven't used it since - Chris.
Later, got my cheapy 17MB100 board, but discovered the tuner is integral to the panel, just a tin can with the aerial socket, an Xtal and a small SMD chip - Guess can't win 'em all.
