Hi Everyone just looking for a heads up on how best to deal with the problem of what happens when a repair goes wrong, its happened a few times here when despite the best efforts a screen gets cracked or some other disaster occurs.Any info on the best way to deal with this would be much appreciated .Best wishes to all

Happened to me once but now I explain to the customer how fragile the screen is on removal, and if I crack it accidently, Im just going to say ' sorry '. After all the set is faulty when its brought to you. Just make sure you talk to the customer first.

Ditto for me. If you have to go into the panel especially, tell the customer " You can write the set off now, or let me strip the panel, but there is an off chance the panel may fracture. If it does, then I accept no responsibility and will not be liable for it",
99 times out of a 100, they will say give it a crack (pardon the pun). Bruce
