is it like it on all inputs Scart and Freeview ? check digital board  audio out coupling caps DC637/DC638 (3.3 µf 50v smd types)if dig board is a BN44-00684A

Hi Shaun the Sheep,

Does this TV have the DTV board that connects above the main board via a long plug/socket? If so, locate C5003, C5005 (3u3 50V each).
You'll find that heating them will restore sound. Take care replacing them, the copper traces are thin and frail.               Bruce

Hi Shaun,

Tried upload the service manual to the forum but taint happening. Don't know about main board but fix2003 has the same thought as me, just that his cap reference numbers differ - probably different board version.
