Anyone worked on one of these yet, mine is totally dead. The electrician who came to service my home kept switching are power on and off loads of times and I noticed when I came to use my machine it was not working. Any help would be very grateful..

UPDATE..

I have got this machine working by bypassing the power supply (PRIMARY) and run a 12v power adapter to the 12v feed and the machine came on and it all worked. I have a really weird suspicion the Optocoupler is at fault. All I want to know if this is a safe way of doing this.

That's a rather unorthodox way of doing things. Have you tried tracing the 12V rail from the psu output connector back to the yellow transformer,. It may just be an open fuse (probably on the underside of the board). But if an external power pack works, so be it.                           Bruce

You was right it was a fuse underneath some glue like substance, so thank you for the heads up.
