Philips LCD 37PF7320A Red LED Codes

Hello,

We have a Philips LCD 37PF7320A that has no video but has the error code of 5 slow blinks followed by 3 quick blinks.  We looked at the manual, but couldn't determine what that meant or if it was worth repairing.  Does anyone know about the codes or how to interpret them?  I would appreciate any help.

hi there....ive found this:

TV turns "off" by itself, the LED blinks 5 times.

Replace X-tal (Viper) on SSB (item 1H00, order code: 2422 543 01397).

REMARKS:
- Error 5: Viper does not boot.
- Only a "reboot" is visible in the Debug menu.
- Error will appear after heating up of the xtal.
