Vestel 17MB16P/20WLT56B not going to full standby

Hi...
I am not sure why this is happening.  when the set is switched off using RC, it appears the screen goes off, but the timer light is staying on :dubbio: and the TV is NOT going to red light i.e standby....  As i am a bit rusty on Schematics  :rolleyes: can anyone point me in the right direction??  I suspect a Cap or maybe a regulator chip, but which one  :wallbash: I have circuit diagram.... please help i am desperate to get this one fixed and gone!!!  :blum:
