Samsung LE32R88BD
« on: April 03, 2009,16:50:47 »
TV turns on but only for a second then picture goes off but sound works and then it goes back into standby mode after a few minutes. Have checked the caps in the power supply board but only have a very low ESR of 0.02. Apparently caps seem common to go based on what i have read. Checked the voltages to the inverter and they giving 24v. Should i investigate the inverter? Thanks in advance.
Just checked the inverter and when the tv switches on or goes to standby the is no voltage on the fuse f1 on the inverter board.

If you have 24v ,find the on of backlight pin by measuring the connector and switching on and of the tv.
Probably you will find 3,3v when you switch on the tv. If so then you are sure for inverter board.
