Out there as any body come across the above model:
when powered up---- power on screen words then
ask's for password with key symbol even when
nones been put in.tried hp support page there is quite
a lot from all over the world with same fault.
any idea's no joy from hp tech people

Not very helpful! laptop only 8 months old they say it will cost £300
to repair
