GOODMANS GTV26W3LCD . RED VERTICAL LINES

Hi guys, I have a goodmans gtv26w3lcd with sound, some varying red vertical lines on a blank screen,
any ideas ? I've cleaned the lvds leads and plugs , also the sm fuse on the scaler pcb is ok.
Mother pcb is a 17mb08p-5.

Also anyone got to the bottom of int. stuck on standby with the 17pw20-v1?
A mate has three on the go and has fitted usual parts inc kits .
