Does anyone use or know where we can get JTAG programmer and software to reprogram satellite receivers.
I know the hardware is  listed on the internet, but they never come with any software!

Hi Mulja,

Its not to patch receivers, we need to reload corrupt, firmware / software, the serial interface will not work as there is no communication with the processor. The makes are varied, but lots of Humax receivers, and various of chinese origin.

We used to send them away for reprogramming, but thats not economical anymore. It would be good to save a few receivers. Rather than throwing them out.
