factory setting screen on HITACHI C2846TN

Hello

I've had my Hitachi for several years now and every so often I get some text on the screen when I start up C2846TN and some such. I usually lose this by pushing two buttons on my remote, switching to standby then switching off. Yesterday when I did this however the sound levels seem to have dropped way off. Before I lost the on-screen text I may have changed the settings I guess.

 

Does anyone know how to initiate the factory setting screen and/or restore the sound levels?

My expertise level is: nil
