Bush LCDS20TV006/A - SP8M3 chips
« on: September 14, 2009,04:50:26 »
Hi Folks,

Have above set where on the invertor panel a couple of SP8M3 N&P Mosfet chips are cremated. Anyone know of a supply ?  Note that FDS8958A is available most everywhere - looks Similar, anyone tried any ?

   Thanks Chris.

Hi Chris
Not tried them, but a check online at the datasheets suggests pinouts are the same and parameters similar, so definately worth a try. Remember to wear your tin hat though!
Regards
John.

Hi and thanks John,

Checked all my other invertor panels, and found lots of 8 pin chips that might possibly be suitable but were not recognised by our usual chip data site as tends to be the way these-days.

Have a genuine unholed WW2 tin hat culled from the local recycling centre, but should I ground it before switch on ?

    Mildly Worried - Chris.
