Samsung LE40R88BD Clicking Relay
fasteddy:
OK read a lot about being able to short out two pins, and decided the risk of something going bang was too great. Took my TV down to a local repair shop and was advised this is a recognised fault and that Samsung would authorise the repair. I rang Samsung from the shop was given a repair code and 15mins later left with my TV fully working!
Many thanks to ISL Kettering who sorted this all out!

Hi all,
I found this site after doing a google search and have found some interesting info.
Basically i have a Samsung LE40R88BD which wont power on, just keeps trying to switch itself on then off with a clicking sound, i replace all 6 capacitors to no avail.
After reading on here the eeprom can become corrupted, i have found the eeprom 246C256BN.
I'm having trouble finding pin 5 and 6 to short as there are no numbers on the eeprom itself?
Any help appreciated
Thanks
Adrian
