WADEREK:
Hi, HAS ANYONE HAD A PROBLEM WITH A POWER SUPPLY FOR A TOSHIBA 32WLT58 LCD. IT WILL NOT START UP. I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE CIRCUIT DIAGRAM, BUT I MUST CONFESS TO STRUGGLING AFTER SPEND 2 DAYS WORKING ON IT.
DEREK.

old tvman:
Symptom
Intermittent operation/ stuck in Standby
Cause
Possible int connections at P807 and / or P809 between the main PSU and the Low-B modules. Gently touching the interconnects may restore operation for a short time.
Cure
Remove the interconnects and check for loose connections.Try this.

WADEREK:
old tvman, thank you for your prompt reply, but this is not the problem. It appears that the IC Q880, STR-W6765 is not coming on, it could of course be faulty. I would be gratefull if you have any other ideas.
Derek.

GGTVBD:
Done lots of these - it's always the STRW6765, Q880 as you rightly say.

Irwins do them for about £13.

Happy Christmas!

WADEREK:
Hi GGTVBD, thank you for your reply, I will now make every effort to aquire the part and post the results ASAP.
Happy new year.
Derek.
