LG RZ37LZ55 Ir problem

The Ir sensor in the TV has stopped working.
Does anyone know the part number and where
i could buy one.

what fault have you got does the tv come on
and can you use the tv controls

   Yes the TV works OK and responds to the buttons on the TV.
The remote works OK just wont do nothing with the telly
apart from the first few seconds it will allow control of the TV
then stops.

quick method to check if remote is working
use camera phone and view sensor on remote
it should flash

             Thanks for the reply,  but have already tried that and its OK.
Also have a couple of all in one remotes that are programed for this TV
and they have stopped responding,  but alright with other equipment.
