first off, appologise for placing in this section, but i fear it is more a discussion than one credibale answer.

TV is a medion 30112 32" lcd.

problem started when it would take say 5 minutes for the tv to start.  as time went on so did the start up time, ending up waiting 2 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours for the tv to start.  now i dont have enough time for it to start up!

the green light blinks when switched on and i can see a small flash on the screen as it tries to boot.  But then the screen is black and i get 6 red blinks.

This sequence is repeated over and over again and again.

any help, solutions, ideas on costs and ease would be great

a kit for such faults charles hyde or wiltsgrove
