KDL-40S2010 SONY.4XFLASHES STANDBY LIGHT.

Hi guy's, got one of these sony 40" l.c.d.'s which when switched on sound may be for 1sec followed by stby led with 4 flashes.psu voltages all seem to be correct.Not even a split second of light on screen.
tested back lights they all seem o.k.anybody got any ideas. thanks Maff.

 KDL-40S2010 it's Sony chassis WAX2 and 4 flashes inform as about  backlight protection. Regards

Could be Q501 on inverter panel.

The inverter panel hasn't  q501!!

Got this info from a certain subscribed fault site based in Europe. Most of the info has been checked for mistakes on this site,but nothing is 100% as per usual. All hints point to inverter
panel.
