Hi Guy's got one of the above l.c.d's not the normal caps in p.s.u.& corrupt memory i.c. totally diff.all caps in p.s.u.o.k. at switch on set comes on & works o.k. for between 30sec's & 2mins.then goes to stby.then back on.I think it could still be a memory prob,because the freeview side is not there missing.looks like mem ic is i.c.7004 marked c24cs08 tried shorting pins 5+6 but no go.also if you get to service mode & do factory reset.set goes off & back on,but still retains all previous chan info.p.c.b. type is bn41-00974b. anyone any idea's! .I spent a fair bit of time last night on the net looking for this prob.In Canada & the states they are starting to get the prob big time,not same model no's but same fault.hundreds & hundreds of them.Samsung say do a firmware upgrade from their site,but as the customers say the sets won't run long enough to do that.So far no posts for a cure though,just lots of very cross customers.
