Philips 42PF5520 tuner

i have a Philips 42PF5520 in workshop.
set suffers from blank picture ( no raster ) swapped tuner board and sets works normal.
does anyone have any ideas what component is common to go faulty on this RF TUNER board 3139 123 6141 ?
as i have 2 sets suffering same problem.

This tv have the problem with software

You can try programm eeprom
don`t remembers numbers on the board something 7CD0, 7D...
normaly you must programm Scaler and 2 eeproms 24lc16 and 24lc32
but to programm Scaler you need to have special device Commpair
you can try just programm eeproms
i have files just for 41pf3320
but if you have good SSC tuner board you can just read both eeproms from working board
and programm faulty one.

ok thanks for that.

i checked error codes and it states error 8 ic2 error while communicating with the scailer eprom points to 7c01 eprom as problem.

i have equipment to remove eeproms but the 7c01 ( 24c32 eprom ) what programmer would i need to reprogram as its a 8 leg very very small eeprom ?

or best way to red / write to these very small eproms.

thanks mulja i will try programing them and see how it goes as my new programmer will be here in next couple of days, if i dont have any luck i will send them to you, thanks.

just a bit curious, the top of eprom is marked as 24c32, my new eprom programmer programs 24Lc32 eproms.

is a 24c32 eprom the same as the 24Lc32 as just wondering what the "L" indicates?
