Hi CJ

Guess you're right, a while ago we used to blast Philips cathode/grid shorts and had lasting success in 20% of cases. These days such sets and possibly good tubes are at local tips in thier thousands, but no-one cares.

Would weep but - Chris (telly mending trade since late 50's) trying to get the knack of Plasma before it goes out of style, next week, hopefully.

Hi CJ,

And you're one of those younger fellows - shame on you - things can only get better, at least we have those LEDs and Oleds coming up.

Thoughts of an organic telly give pause for a smile, bit Douglas Adams again, let's hope they don't have a 'Genuine people personality' Eeprom  - Chris.
