Hitachi 42PD6600 Fault (Vestel 17mb15e-3 eprom dump mainboard )

i have a Hitachi 42PD6600

set refuses to come out of standby,  
seems corrupt eprom software as if i zero out eprom so its blank set start up ok & perfect with good sound/picture everytime untill set is put into standby with remote where set writes to the blanked eprom again.

set wont start up again till i have blanked eprom again.

i have noticed this set uses the Vestel 17mb15e-3 mainboard.

any ideas? i have tryed reprogramming with Vestel 17mb15e-3 dump but seems set just overwrites eeprom when put in standby.

Just a thought, perhaps existing Eeprom is duff - Chris.
