Hi, I have a Hitachi L26HP03. Problem is: Flashing white screen every 5 seconds - 5 secs on 5 secs off and so on.
White screen flashes on and off and sometimes appears to flicker as if the power is trying to go through, when it does start it works but looks fresh no channels or anything (and DTV doesnt work), if you unplug it it reverts back to white screen. Also in service mode under diagnostic menu it indicates the DTV - 'DTV Rs232 = NOK' This is would explain no access to DTV channels or even DTV menu?!
This is the TV's current state, earlier it was struggling to boot at all (no white screen no backlight) just red standby light with the blue light flicking every few seconds as if it was trying to start.
Power board is from a working set so should be no problems there (open to ideas) - I believe the problem lies with the main board:17MB35-1. I have another 17MB35-1 from a different model which is working and can probably use as parts if I need to. Will add some pics later!
