medion laptop

 :lamo: got medion laptop MD96959...................... story is turned off at night then tried to turn on in morning................................. all it does is l.e.d`s come on fan starts some movement of hdd and thats it............ screen completely blank?  battery is fully charged also power pack checked on other laptop of same and it work ok? any ideas

Hi, try removing Hard Drive completely and starting up computer with hard drive removed.

EDIT:

Step 1: Try connecting Laptop to external monitor (desktop monitor or whatever you have available) if you have a picture then it is likely you have a problem with your lcd and proceed to step 2. 

Step 2:Try the small sleep button that the laptop lid closes - located somewhere just below the screen above the keyboard (sometimes it gets stuck, just poke it a few times gently and see if LCD lights).

Step 3: If you have a picture on the external monitor and still get no response from the laptop lcd, get a flashlight and shine it around the laptop lcd and see if you can make out a picture.
