thankyou brian for posting them will have a good look at them much appretiated thankyou
i think the Haniel Charis board might for the tv,s 1080p processing.
the one thing that sill baffles me is that you get a full tv picture on lcd ( mirror image at bottom & black lines in middle of lcd) but you can still see normal tv ok when you switch av to normal tv channels but blank when either on av1 /2 /component/hdmi.
also blank when freeview is pressed ( but shows freeview on 2nd tv connected to scart)
surely if the t-con was gone then it would not get any sort of full tv picture on normal tv channels ?:dubbio:
as you can see from picture below theres thin black lines in middle of screen ( sometimes alot less lines) and theres a mirror image of picture at bottom of screen. so the t-con is recieving a signal on normal tv?
might be wrong, just trying to rule out possibilitys.
brainstorm:
Hi Mzone,
When you say you get normal TV ok, do you mean analogue? and do you mean the
picture is perfect? If yes to both questions then I don't think it is a Tcon board fault.

mzone:
hi brian normal tv yes i mean analogue through the areial connected to rear rf socket. sorry if i did not make that clear before.
the picture is perfect apart from black lines in middle and a kind of mirror image of image on screen at bottom of screen as shown in last picture.
brainstorm:
Hi Mzone,
If you are getting perfect pictures of the freeview menu on the 2nd set and "mirror image" on the Tosh then the likelyhood is the fault lies around the Tcon or the Haniel charis board.
I know you are not getting everything to output to your second set, but when you do get something the picture is perfect.
