LG 37LG3000 NO SOUND NO REMOTE

EARLYBIRD:
Hi we have a LG 37LG3000 the remote does not work and there is no sound but good pictures,the graphic bar for the volume is corrupted but the menu graphics are fine,is there a factory reset or eeprom reset? Anyone had this before ,living in hope .Thanks
