Grundig/ Goodmans 15inch LCD

I have 2 LCD TVs 1 Grundig, 1 Goodmans both with same fault picture goes blank, back light goes out. Power/ Inverter board no longer available form CHS. Does anyone know of a repair for this board IDLCD15W016HD.

Don't have set listed under Bush and you didn't give a Grundig model, so how about invertor details or a piccy - Chris

Sorry in a hurry this morning. Grundig model GU15WDPCX exact same TV Goodmans model GTVL15W17HDF. Other number was Charles Hyde number for Psu/inverter board, which is discontinued. Both TVs work fine for a few minutes, then screen/ backlight goes off. No sign of distressed capacitors, or hot spots or dry joints on board. I'll start taking caps out later and test individually.

There is some history with fault you describe under Grundig - turned out to be duff tubes. Trust not so in your case. Incidentally, what was the PS/invertor model out of interest  ?

PS  - Your second seems to be a Bush LCD Tv not a P/Inv panel. Go on, give us a piccy, make our day.

if there are small blue caps near inverter plugs some go
o/c i think they are 5-9pf 3kv wkd try repacing them or if
you got a cap meter try measuring them
