Why does Mulja's link take me to a page where it says I can't access, and if I go new LCD faults the Hitachi L42SP04U doesn't seem to be mentioned also seems no way to add faults cured to the model file  ? ?

Yes, but -  went there but Hitachi L42SP04U doesn't seem to exist - unless listed under something else.

Can't find reference to Hitachi L42SP04U - anywhere - Chris

yes i found the problem with permition for hero members
but it fixed now.

You can just add fault for L42sp04 under hitachi section

but that power supply use in many makes this is vestel brand
like toshiba,sanyo,bush,technika.....
