Hi Blue,

Don't seem to have one but would love a piccy for next Quuq'er who asks.  You never know, someone might recognise it from another set and have a couple on the shelf - Chris.

Hi BS.

The thought that you bought a PS/Invertor and as it didn't do the biz -  is problem on this panel  ? Well you didn't actually say what the problem was, or is  -

Just a thought - Chris.

hi the power supply had blown up and was so badly burnt you couldnt even see resistor or chip values.
a friend who does tv repairs full time sugguested it had either been struck by lightening or had a major power surge.
i only have limited electronics experiance so i changed most parts on the board that i suspected faulty but i think i have missed something.the board doesnt blow its fuse now when you power it up like it used to. is there anywhere i can send the board for testing in the uk ?
i have already wasted money buying the same model board but different revision that didnt fit and cant afford to waste any more
any help or ideas will be greatfully recieved thanks

Hi Blue,

Hope your replacement PS is correct for set when it arrives, must confess that your original PS piccy seemed so tidy and unburned, wondered where problem was.

All the best - Chris.
