Notice that our Sparky didn't seem to reply Quuq'wise to this problem, so naturally wonder what was it that Sparky didn't say that proved the cure to the problem.

But mainly - what were those secondary caps you mention  ? Chris.

Hi, Just an update on my fault! Have fitted IC7 (D78F9222CX) which i received from Chris (Turnip) yesterday and the set has now been working fine for 6 hours will keep on test a little longer but i think it will be ok now.I did try plugging in the board that Chris sent and would fire up for few mins and cut out!
Many thanks to Chris again for this and you should look for the postie soon.
