Hi, I have a Grundig GU26DP with an IPOS 150 rev1.8 200-POO-HM15DH smps+inverter in for repair, i found that inverter ic7 NEC D78F9222CX will fire up the back light when heat is applied to it, have checked most of the smd's on the underside and check out ok  i cannot find details on chip.

Hi Robbieh,

Anything like the one attached  ?    Had similar trouble and red led on lower LHS lit when invertor failed after a few minutes, in my case heat wouldn't restore but the following day would work for a short while.

Can't win 'em all, it seems - Chris.
