Hitachi 42PD9700 screen marks ?

just got a Hitachi 42PD9700 plasma in there seems be to like coudy marks on the screen?

guy said the marks slowly appeared over few months?

anyone any ideas what the marks might?

it looks like muck between the pdp and the outer glass screen, customer possibly smokes????
