What about 'Sparkys' thought of Scart out to another set, as might point to screen drive area ? - Chris

when pic goes off for second b4 pic goes  sometimes get negative pic on screen tried through av to another tv
but still no pic back light on sound ok          could this be tecon?

But what do you get on Scart out when prob occurs  ?  - not too clear from your last - Chris

when connected to another tv through scart fault still there       fault is very intermittent  thanks dave !

Hi Dave,

Seems a main board problem as backlight is OK and 'Scart out' shows fault - have no spares, yet.
