Eeprom File for Goodmans ld3260hdfvt

Hello people,

I am repairing a Goodmans LD3260HDFVT with a 17mb15e-7 AV board. The problem is that the screen is black but the back light is working and power supply voltages are ok.

I have heard that there is a common fault on these boards for the eeprom to corrupt . I have searched the internet hi and lo including the downloadable s on this site, I have also phoned vestal direct to try and get old of this file with no joy.

Does any one know where I can get hold of said file??

Hi Chris,

Have something similar meself where a jolly Vestel screen displays weak bright piccies.

Just to be empathetic - Chris.

Kilroys:

Do you have sound from the speaker. If yes,
check the fuse on the lcd controller board.
They seems to be very weak, and could break without any reason.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay,
As kilroys said I checked the fuses on the lcd control board and they were gone. Replaced them and the tv fired up fine.
