Samsung lcd dark on one side ?

good afternoon guys.

i have got a  Samsung lcd model LE40f86BDX.

lcd: LTA400HH-L01

when cold the right side of tv is very dark however it will clear up once tv has been on for about 10 mins and tv will work ok.

also i have noticed when cold i can get the picture to go ok without waiting to warm up and get picture ok straight away if i tap the back of the tv?.  i checked all obvious  cables inside and all secure.

hi mate could it be dodgy ccfl holders ?? does that set have a master and slave inverter ?

hi no seperate invertor boards just 1 long main invertor board of the left side of panel.

have just scrapped 40" sammy ,screen bust this had two inverters same
model one was  hidden behind screening can

thanks sparky i guess its time to strip apart the lcd then?

also on a side note, i have just noticed when the picture is on there looks to be like a faint grey water type stain inside the screen.
