Samsung LE26R74BD starting issue...Help

Hello all,
I have a Samsung LE26R74BD that has recently developed an issue...it powers up ok but screen flickers static no matter what imput, you can see the samsung setup menu intermittently behind all the static...the TV itself is in sound condition but cannot get a picture.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Is it one of the boards inside?

fault on motherboard the bga chip is faulty,i have the
same tv with same fault new board £150

do you know board number or something i can google to find one?

go on to charles hyde site put your model
number in the board and price with part number
will come up

I just repaired one of these with same cap problem as the 40ins..nice if these start to show standby problems as well. Unfortunately the screen has a large shadow over it.
