aaargh-urgent help req,d phillips 42PFL7662D blue light no sound or pic

got a phillips 42PFL7662D with no sound or picture.when standby button is pressed blue light goes from on to off and viceversa> already replaced the power board with new one but still no sound or picture.any ideas appreciated.

most probably one of the 2 inverter boards as the chassis is a lc7.2.

would this cause no sound too?

hi mate the sound would still be present if you had an inverter problem .im afraid it sounds like you have the same problem as me i have a 32pf 9830 ambilight with a blue led no sound /no pic .ie ssb panel (main board) and its bloody expensive im just waiting for a smashed one to turn up sorry to be the bearer of bad news .dave
