Hitachi 26LD6200 - Vestel

Hi folks,

Have one of these where at switch on, there is no front led but the backlight comes on with a black screen and no sound. PS seems to be putting out normal voltages and there is a sub-power board which also seems OK with some voltages around the main board.

Power Li-Shin, Sub 17PW11, main 17MB11-2

Any thoughts  ?   Chris.

Hi folks,

Just thought to mention that a main board from a 6200 screen prob did the biz -

PS - After a couple of hours, broad vertical bands appeared RHS - Interesting as the doner set had broad vertical bands after a while. So, could a main board be the problem even though Scart out was OK, or is the prob just crap 26 inch screens in Vestel Hitachi ? - bear in mind mine was a different screen and LVDS.

Glad to have your thoughts - not now so cheerful - Ah well, no pound today Sparky - Chris.
