TOSHIBA 37AV554D, STANDBY.

Hi, the fault on this tv is no pic or sound just the red led illuminated which will give one flash at 10sec intervals.
Any one able to help ?

hi mate iv heard of toshibas suffering from this strw6765 regulator ic problem ? not familiar with this one but could be something to look into as im sure there are other toshibas on here that have suffered from this and may have had similar symptoms.good luck .dave

Hi dave the strw6765 that you refer to is a common faliure but is not used in this tv,in fact i have replaced three of these ic`s in the last month.

And you never said a word, but all real Quuqs' have Tarrot cards and ESP, but still too few piccies  - Chris
