green sparkles on dark backgrounds

hi guys i have a hitachi pd9700 series  the set works ok however i can see green sparkles on dark backgrounds.

i have checked vs and va and these are on the money.

anyone have any ideas regarding these green sparkles.

Hi Buncey,

Nothing at all, but, who made it, Guess Hitachi didn't as they have this strange LCD passion for Vestel, and with Plasma possibly even worse. Let's hope it's LG - and with lots'a piccies, pse  - Chris.

PS - note that we have a similar on-line angles of relaxation, piccy wise, bit like our earth, in winter -awful cool, and with all that warming.

if its lg panel 42v6 or 42v7.check regulator 1.8 and 3.3 if any ripple if ok change control board.

i think its a hitachi pdp panel it  does say Fujitsu Hitachi on label.

i also noticed after leaving the tv for a couple of hours the green sparkles dissapear after the tv is warmed up?

anyone any ideas.
