PICTURE AND SOUND O.K.,EXCEPT FOR A PENCIL THIN VERTICAL LINE STRAIGHT DOWN SCREEN  ABOUT A THIRD WAY IN FROM LEFT HAND SIDE.
ANY SUGGESTIONS??

Fault in screen usually flexy cables. Would have to go to specialist repair centre.

delphi:
Mulja is quite right. There are flexible cables to the screen, which usually suffers dry joints. It is a very tricky, time consuming repair.
